Once again, not mine. These belong to Urban Explorer Jerm IX whose blog is linked below. I love urban explorarion. I would so be right there with all these brave souls (Jerm IX, AdamtheWoo, and UrbanX just to name a few I really like) but I can’t climb, I can’t run, and my imagination would freak me out in a dark asylum. So I will live adventurously through them. Anyway, Jerm IX took a self guided tour though Edgemere before it’s sad end. These pictures are from after the auction. If you check out his blog (I hope Jerm’s a male, otherwise sorry, Jerm), you will see little bits of paper everywhere, on every window. I think this is either the demolition company marking what’s for sale or the buyer marking what they want. Already, the stairs in the entrance hall are gone, as is the railing in the sitting area overlooking the entrance hall. Large sets of windows are gone in the exterior picture. The bottom most floor is missing something. That looks like a garage but it opens to the home theater (seated 20) maybe it was drive in theater, the ideas of the rich confound me.
The amount of detail in the moldings and the woodwork makes me cringe, how could this place be built and then then thrown away like it was nothing. I wonder if it wasn’t a scam or something, just my thought on it. It probably isn’t but I don’t personally know anyone who can sink millions into a building and then simply sell it to be demolished. Any way check out Jerm IX’s site for more pics and other adventures.
